I suppose to welcome 2009 with happy thoughts, love and joy, but what happened is the opposite.
I only heard several fireworks and seen few street carolers, the weather was not cooperative because it was raining cats and dogs. It made me super lazy. Instead of having fun outside I just decided to stay inside my comfort zone, my bedroom. I spent the 1st day of 2009 watching DVD ripped of Gossip Girl until 4pm in the afternoon. After the DVD marathon I decided to go out with Jake.
It was a deafening silence since Jake and I had an argument after New Year’s Eve. The road trip continued even it was freezing outside. I spent my remaining few hours of January 1, 2009 with a sort of “pampainit” – Lambanog with friends. It last until midnight then I decided to go home.
I thought the quarrel with Jake was already ended but things get worse. The fight last until dawn then reconciled at nine o’clock in the morning of the following day.
