I had my 3D4D ultrasound last August 21, 2009 at Inmywomb in SM Megamall. My baby was about 28-29 week old that time. I availed the RUBY package of Inmywomb which is P4000.00, with colored 3D4D pics and edited DVD.

I never imagine I'm getting married in a span of 3 weeks, though it will be a civil wedding, it won't change the fact that Jake and I are legally binded. Getting married is a lifetime commitment, by just putting my signature, I will be Mrs. Shiena Mutya – Combalicer. I'm not having cold feet or something, I just realized things will change in a snap.

I'm 15 weeks pregnant, of course it's unplanned. The original plan is getting married on Sept 2010, I never thought I will get pregnant prior to the wedding date, now we're on a rush. Accepting that I will be a mom soon is easy, but accepting the fact that I will be a wife soon makes me feel uncomfortable.

I would love to learn how to be a good wife, a good mom and a good person at the same time. This is a new chapter of my life, after 7 years in a relationship I still keep on asking myself.... how can I keep our love alive.

I'm happy that I'm capable of having a baby, I'm thrilled and excited. I'm lucky also for having Jake as my soon-to-be-hubby although sometimes he's “pasaway”, all I know he loves me so much. =)

There was a tremendous feeling upon seeing my baby's heartbeat, emotion that I can't explain. I'm so excited and tensed while having my Trans-V Ultrasound, hoping that my baby is fine inside my womb.

God is good, my baby is in good condition as well as my two ovaries.

At last, for seven long years, Jake and I are now expecting a baby. Waaaaah!

This is not our original plan. We are really looking forward for our church wedding in 2010, but God has other plan for us. Instead of wedding, He sent a wonderful gift, now I’m carrying child on my womb for almost 5 weeks.

Instantaneously, upon confirmation, we announced my pregnancy to all of our families, intimate friends and colleagues. We love the excitement showed by other people. They grasped and absorbed the news with enthusiasm, most of them asking to be the “ninongs and ninangs”. Likewise, we received calls from our friends in abroad trying to extend their warm greetings.

At the moment, we want to make sure that the baby is healthy and in a good condition. In addition, we would like to ask for your prayers. We are aware that the first trimester is the most hard and crucial among all stages of pregnancy, we are hoping for a healthy baby.

Now, Jake and I are very excited and yet very nervous!
